Best AI Ad Agent to Run Your Facebook and Google Ads

The complete buyer's framework, plus the most detailed side-by-side comparison of every tool that runs Facebook and Google ads.

The short version

The best AI ad agent for Facebook and Google ads does six things well: it covers every placement on both platforms, it lets you choose how much it does on its own, it runs on a deep context layer that actually understands your account, it handles the whole job end to end (design, launch, manage, optimize), it holds up when you ask for something slightly unusual, and it lets you run all of your ad accounts from one place. Most tools do one or two of these. Very few do all six.

At a glance:

  • Best overall AI ad agent for Facebook and Google, end to end: AdAmigo.ai

  • Best for managing many ad accounts at once: AdAmigo.ai

  • Best all-round marketing agent for a small business (ads, SEO, content, landing pages): Ryze AI, Viktor, or GrokBot

  • Best if you only run Facebook and Instagram: Madgicx (automation rules and reports) or AdAmigo.ai (AI-agent-first design, launch, and optimization)

  • Best for fast bulk campaign launching: AdManage.ai (every channel), Kitchn.io (team review), or AdAmigo.ai (full-stack)

  • Best free AI video ad generator: TikTok's Creative Studio

  • Best AI image ad generator: Google Gemini

  • Best for AI ad generation, end to end: AdAmigo.ai or AdCreative.ai

  • Best for enterprise scale and rule-based control: Smartly.io, Skai, or Marin

  • Best for reporting your Facebook and Google data: AgencyAnalytics

  • Best for ecommerce attribution (where are sales really coming from): Triple Whale or Northbeam

  • Best for lead-gen and high-ticket attribution: Hyros

The full framework, the detailed comparison, and the reasoning behind each pick are below.

Where this comes from

We manage a little over 2,000 ad accounts on AdAmigo.ai. We work with agencies and brands of every shape and size: enterprise agencies running some of the biggest companies in the world, and small freelancer and media-buying shops. On the brand side we work with ecommerce stores, lead generation businesses, nationwide and international lead gen, local services, and local lead gen.

A lot of what follows is drawn straight from those 2,000+ conversations about what a great Facebook and Google ads agent actually needs to do.

It also comes from a long time in the trenches. I (Chris) have been in paid ads since March 2018. I ran ads for my own ecommerce business, joined an agency and became VP of Client Success there, moved to a software business helping Facebook advertisers, worked as a fractional CMO across a range of companies, and then built AdAmigo.ai, the fastest growing AI ad agent for paid ads.

This is not a list scraped from other websites. It is the checklist we wish every advertiser had before they picked a tool.

What actually matters when you choose an AI ad agent

1. Full channel and placement coverage

Your agent should be able to run every placement on Google and every placement on Facebook and Instagram. This sounds obvious. It is where a lot of tools quietly fall short.

On Facebook and Instagram it is fairly simple. Most tools can launch an Advantage+ placement campaign, and that alone puts your ads across Facebook, Instagram, and Threads automatically. The gap here is depth: many tools cannot go the other way and set up a campaign for Facebook only, or Instagram only, when that is what you want.

Google is where it gets messy. Google is not one thing. You have Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, and the Google Display Network, and they each need different kinds of creative. YouTube needs video. The Display Network mostly runs images. Search mostly runs short lines of text. That adds a lot of complexity, and a lot of tools only handle a slice of it.

So the first thing to check is whether the agent can service all of these. A tool might be great for Facebook today, but if it cannot touch Google, you are stuck the day you want to expand. Same inside Google: if it does Search but not Shopping or Performance Max, you hit a wall right when you want to grow.

2. A full range of automation, from "you drive" to "it drives"

You do not want the same level of automation for every task. Some jobs you want to lead: you write the prompt and the guidelines, the agent executes, and you check the result right away. Other jobs, or other businesses with a higher comfort level around AI, are better fully automated: it runs on its own and simply tells you what it did. And plenty of teams want the middle ground, where they stay in the loop and approve each change before it goes live.

A good AI ad agent should offer all of these in one platform. "We fully automate everything" is not actually what you want, because there will always be tasks you want to steer yourself.

AdAmigo.ai covers the whole spectrum: a chat mode where you drive, an autopilot mode where the agent tells you what it wants to do and you approve it, and a fully autonomous mode where it acts on its own while you still see every action and the reason behind it.

3. A deep context layer (this is the big one)

Here is something most people miss. Language models are extremely good at sounding smart. An AI can explain a decision so well that you assume it must be right, even when it has no real idea what it is doing. Confident and correct are not the same thing.

The only thing that separates a real strategy from confident nonsense is context. Your agent has to actually know your business. That means access to your ad account, your full performance history, your Shopify store, and your CRM, and then it needs to run a deep analysis on all of it over time.

When it has that, it starts to understand things a shallow tool never will:

  • The seasonality in your business, so it knows a slow week is normal and not a reason to panic.

  • How past changes affected performance, so it learns what works in your account specifically.

  • Which numbers move together, so it can tell a real signal from noise.

  • When a product is about to sell out, so it can dial spend down before you waste it.

  • Which ad sets and ads bring in leads that actually convert later, not just leads that look good on day one.

On top of that, it should build memory. You feed it your SOPs, your naming conventions for campaigns, ad sets, and ads, and the UTM tags (the little tracking labels on every link) you need on every ad, and it follows them to the letter, every time.

This is the part almost no one has built, and it is where AdAmigo.ai goes deeper than anything else on the market. It matters more than it looks, because on the surface every tool looks the same. A competitor's site says "we launch ads." Ours says "we launch ads." The screenshots look alike. But once you use a tool without a real context layer, you see it: the ads it designs and the changes it makes are not part of a real strategy. It makes decisions that are quietly bad for your business, because it is missing the context needed to make the right ones.

4. Every capability under one roof

An agent that can only give you audits and recommendations is worth far less than one that can also carry them out. And an agent that manages campaigns, budgets, and bidding but cannot design new ads is worth less than one that can do both.

At AdAmigo.ai, everything you need to run your ads lives in one place: creative design and creative research, launching and bulk launching, campaign building, audience building, budget management, bidding management, keyword management, and comment management. On top of that sits optimization against what actually matters, like lifetime value and converted leads pulled from your CRM and Shopify.

Here is the nuance nobody thinks about, and it is the single strongest reason to want a broad agent instead of a narrow one:

If an agent cannot design ads, it will never tell you the ads are the problem. It will not recommend a fix it is not able to carry out.

So a narrow tool that only touches budgets will always tell you the answer is a budget change, because that is all it can do. A broad agent that can also design creative will spot creative fatigue for what it is and fix it by making new ads. The more an agent can actually do, the more opportunities it can see, and the more it can recommend to drive better results.

5. Feature depth, so it does not break on the first real request

This is the one you only discover after you have already committed. It is easy to write on a website: "just write a prompt and we build the campaign." Building a basic campaign or audience is not hard. The question is what happens when you need something slightly beyond the basics.

  • You want to exclude view-through attribution, because it takes credit for sales from people who only saw an ad and never clicked. Can it?

  • You want to turn off the Audience Network placement, because it is sending you low-quality bot traffic. Can it?

  • You want a specific bidding control, like a bid cap, a cost cap, or a target ROAS. Can it?

  • You want to exclude a custom audience from an ad set, or stack several interest targets in one. Can it?

  • You want a lifetime budget on a schedule instead of a flat daily budget. Can it?

  • You want to launch a carousel ad, not just a single image or single video, because mixing creative formats drives better performance. Can it?

  • On Google, you want your UTM tags configured a specific way. Can it?

This is where a lot of tools fall apart. Many of them just took an out-of-the-box connector, dropped it into their code, and claim they can do everything. The second you ask for something a little unusual, it fails, it crashes, or it silently will not build the thing. And then you are back in Ads Manager doing it by hand, except now you are also paying for a tool on top.

At AdAmigo.ai we put an enormous amount of work into the edge cases: every campaign objective, every setting at the campaign, ad set, ad group, and ad level, and every ad format. And launching is only half of it. Editing and changing what is already live is a separate hard problem, and we handle that too.

This may be the most important thing on this whole page, and it is the hardest to see. Almost any tool can show you a campaign being built. What you cannot tell from a landing page is how deep that access goes. The real question is not "can it build a campaign," it is "how deeply has it integrated with Meta and Google." AdAmigo.ai is a Meta Business Partner, and we built against the full Marketing API, so the settings other tools skip are all there. If a tool only wired up the handful of endpoints that make a clean demo, you will hit the wall the first time you need something specific. There is a dedicated Configuration Depth section in the comparison below for exactly this reason.

6. Real ad-creation depth

If ad design matters to you, and it should, watch for a few things specifically.

You want a tool that does not just create ads but also launches them, so the whole flow is handled in one place instead of you exporting files and uploading them somewhere else. You want it to make video ads, not only image ads. And you want it to design with two kinds of context baked in: your brand style, and the actual performance trends from your ad account.

This last point is what sets a real ad designer apart from a general creative generator. A standalone creative tool like Higgsfield makes great-looking assets, but it has no connection to your ad account. So the creatives come out off-brand, they drift from one batch to the next, and they carry no intelligence about what actually drives high-converting ads, because the tool cannot see the data that would tell it. AdAmigo.ai connects all of that, so the creative is on-brand, informed by what is already working, and shaped by the messaging angles your account has not tried yet.

7. Multi-account optimization from one workspace

If you run more than one ad account, and most agencies and multi-brand businesses do, you do not want to log in and out of each one, repeating the same setup and re-teaching the same context every time. The best AI ad agent lets you run all of your accounts together.

With AdAmigo.ai you create a workspace, connect every ad account to it, and set your integrations and your context once at the workspace level. Then you direct the work across accounts with a single prompt. Ask it to launch the same campaign across five accounts, or to check spend across every account you manage, and it does it in one pass. Because integrations and the context layer live at the workspace level, every account draws on the same memory instead of starting from zero.

That is the difference between a tool built for one account and a tool built for how agencies and growing brands actually work.

The full comparison

We scored the tools most people put on their shortlist when deciding how to run their Facebook and Google ads. Alongside the true ad platforms, we included a few adjacent tools people often weigh at the same time (measurement platforms, a Slack agent, and do-it-yourself setups) so you can see exactly where they do and do not overlap. That is why some columns are mostly empty: a measurement tool is not supposed to design a carousel ad, and showing that plainly is the point.

Legend: ✓ yes · ✗ no · limited = the tool does it partially or in a limited way. (Wide table: scroll right to see every tool.)

Notes on the grid

  • Configuration depth: This is the hardest thing to judge from a website and may be the most important. Almost any tool can show a campaign being built. What you cannot see until you are inside is how deep it goes. It comes down to how deeply a tool integrated the Meta and Google APIs. AdAmigo.ai is a Meta Business Partner built against the full Marketing API, so it supports the full surface. Lifetime budgets and stacked interest targeting are two settings almost no other tool exposes, and custom bidding controls are rare outside a couple of agents. These are the exact things to make a tool prove in a live demo before you commit.

  • What each tool really is: AdScale is an ecommerce-focused agent that automates Meta and Google together off store data. Creatify and AdCreative.ai are creative generators that can push ads into your accounts, strong on creative, light on live campaign management and context. Hunch is a paid-social creative-automation platform (Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, not Google) built around catalog and dynamic ads. Adnova is a Meta bulk launcher wrapped in a creative workflow. AdManage.ai is a pure-play bulk launcher across roughly nine channels (including LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, Reddit) with strong naming and UTM governance and flat-rate pricing, but no creative generation and no attribution. Kitchn.io is a team-focused launcher with the strongest review-and-approval workflows, though it does not run Google (its channels are Meta, Snapchat, TikTok, and Pinterest) and it is priced higher. Smartly, Skai, and Marin are enterprise platforms built for large teams and rule-based control.

  • The adjacent columns: Triple Whale and Northbeam are measurement platforms (attribution, MMM, lift), not ad runners: they connect to all the ad platforms to measure them, but score ✗ across execution and creative and ✓ across attribution. Northbeam goes deeper on statistical rigor for higher-spend brands, Triple Whale is broader and easier to start with. Viktor lives in Slack and can operate Meta and Google accounts by message, but it does not touch creative. Claude Code (or Codex) plus an ad-account connector is a do-it-yourself route: powerful in the right hands, but you build the guardrails, the context, and every edge case yourself. GrokBot could not be confirmed as a distinct ad product; we have treated it as a general Grok-based agent route, so confirm the exact product before relying on this row.

  • Attribution: Madgicx's attribution is essentially server-side tracking (Conversion API setup), not revenue or CRM-based optimization. AdAmigo.ai optimizes against real revenue by connecting your Shopify and CRM and tracing which ads drove converted leads and lifetime value through UTM tags. We deliberately do not run our own attribution layer, MMM, or lift studies. For that depth, Triple Whale or Northbeam is the tool.

  • Integration depth: AdAmigo.ai connects to the major CRMs (HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, GoHighLevel, Salesforce and more), Shopify, Slack, Gmail, Outlook, WhatsApp, Google Drive, Dropbox, and dozens of additional connectors, plus a spreadsheet integration that works with any CRM that can export to a sheet.

Best tool for each use case

No single tool is best for everyone. Here is the honest read, by what you are actually trying to do.

You want one agent to run and optimize Facebook and Google ads end to end, with real execution and a memory of your account. AdAmigo.ai. This is what it is built for: it designs, launches, manages, and optimizes across both platforms, and it does it on a context layer that learns your account over time.

You manage many ad accounts at once. AdAmigo.ai. Connect them all to one workspace, set your integrations and context once, and run them together with a single prompt instead of logging in and out of each account.

You are a small business that wants one AI agent across your whole marketing. Ryze AI is the clearest fit: it helps across several areas at once (paid ads, SEO, content design, landing page design). General-purpose agents like Viktor and GrokBot are also worth a look if you want one assistant that stretches across many tasks rather than advertising alone. If automating paid ads specifically is your main goal, AdAmigo.ai goes far deeper: everything you can do in Ads Manager, not just part of it, plus the context layer that learns your account.

You only run Facebook and Instagram. Two ways to go. If you want rule-based automation and strong reporting, Madgicx is a solid legacy pick, with automation in the vein of Birch (the tool formerly known as Revealbot) and dashboards that pull across channels, though its "AI" is mostly limited to creative and it does not run Google. If you want an AI-agent-first approach to designing, launching, optimizing, and automating your ads, AdAmigo.ai is the stronger choice, and it is ready the day you decide to add Google.

You just need to launch a lot of campaigns fast. Three good options, depending on what matters most to you. AdManage.ai runs on every channel, so if you also care about LinkedIn, Snapchat, and Pinterest alongside Facebook and Google, it covers them all. Kitchn.io has the strongest collaboration features, so if your team needs to review launches before they go live, it handles that best, though it costs more. AdAmigo.ai goes past a pure launcher: it also builds new campaigns and ad sets, so you can stand up an entirely new strategy, it supports instant lead forms, WhatsApp, and Messenger as destinations, and it designs the ads too, so the whole flow lives in one place.

You want the best AI creative, and it depends on the type. For video, TikTok's Creative Studio is free and, quietly, one of the best AI video generators around. For images, Google's Gemini is excellent. For broader AI content, Higgsfield is strong. For AI ad generation specifically, AdAmigo.ai and AdCreative.ai are the picks. AdCreative.ai is strong at generating high-converting variations at volume. AdAmigo.ai goes further for ads: it brings every format the big advertising platforms need, automatically pulls in the context of your best-performing ads and the messaging angles you are missing, and then launches those ads for you, all under one platform, trained on a dataset of over $300 million in ad spend.

You are a large enterprise that wants rule-based control at massive scale. Smartly.io, Skai, or Marin. Expect enterprise pricing, long onboarding, and rule-based rather than agentic automation.

You want the best reporting across Facebook and Google. AgencyAnalytics, purpose-built for agencies to pull both platforms (and 85+ other sources) into clean, white-label client dashboards. It reports, it does not run ads.

You just want an AI agent to read your ad data across channels and generate reports. GoMarble. It connects to your accounts across multiple channels and turns the data into generated reports, which is all some teams actually need.

You want to understand where your sales are really coming from, for ecommerce. Triple Whale or Northbeam. Both give you independent multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modeling, and incrementality testing built around your store. Triple Whale is broader and easier to start with; Northbeam goes deeper on statistical rigor for higher-spend brands. Neither runs your ads, and both pair well with AdAmigo.ai.

You want that same clarity for lead generation or high-ticket offers. Hyros. It is built for long, multi-week funnels (coaching, info products, call-based sales) where a lead might convert weeks after the click, and it feeds that data back to Facebook and Google to improve optimization.

A few honest limits on AdAmigo.ai, so you know exactly what you are getting: we do not run TikTok ads (this platform is Facebook and Google), and we do not have our own attribution modeling like MMM or lift studies. What we do, we go deep on.

FAQ

What is an AI ad agent? An AI ad agent is a tool that can plan, build, launch, manage, and optimize your ad campaigns for you, the way a media buyer would. The better ones do the actual work, not just hand you recommendations to carry out yourself.

Can one AI ad agent run both Facebook and Google ads? Yes, but fewer tools do this well than claim to. Facebook is relatively simple to cover. Google is fragmented across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube, and Display, each with different creative needs, so check that the agent handles all of it before you commit.

Can I control how much the AI does on its own? With the right tool, yes. You should be able to drive it yourself, keep it in a mode where you approve each change, or let it run fully on its own while you watch what it does. AdAmigo.ai offers all three.

Can one tool manage all of my ad accounts? The best ones can. With AdAmigo.ai you connect every account to a single workspace, set integrations and context once, and run them together with one prompt. Many tools still make you manage each account separately.

Does the AI actually design the ads, or just launch them? It depends on the tool, and it matters more than it seems. An agent that cannot design ads will never tell you your ads are the problem, because it cannot recommend a fix it cannot perform. Look for one that designs and launches, including video, using your brand and your account data.

Can I just use a general AI agent, like Claude with a connector, instead? You can do a lot that way if you are technical. But you take on the guardrails, the account safety, and the deep context that a purpose-built ad agent handles for you. It tends to break the moment you need something beyond the basics.

Does AdAmigo.ai replace a tool like Triple Whale or Northbeam? Not for measurement. Their strength is attribution modeling, MMM, and lift studies, which AdAmigo.ai does not do. AdAmigo.ai's strength is running the ads: designing, launching, managing, and optimizing them against real revenue. Many teams run both.

Does AdAmigo.ai run TikTok ads? No. AdAmigo.ai focuses on Facebook, Instagram, and Google. Going deep on those beats going shallow on everything.

Is my ad account safe with an AI tool? Ask how a tool connects. AdAmigo.ai is an official Meta Business Partner and Google Partner and connects through the approved path, which you can verify yourself in the partner directories. Tools that bolt on an unapproved connector can get your account flagged or restricted.
