Reports, charts and recommendations in the AdAmigo.ai chat agent

Ask the AdAmigo.ai chat agent any question about your Meta and Google ads in plain words. It pulls the data from the ad accounts connected to your workspace and answers with a table, a chart or previews of the actual ads. Ask for an audit or ideas and it tells you what to change and the expected impact, and once you approve, it makes the changes in the same chat.

Think of it this way: you hired an AI marketer to run your paid ads, and the chat agent is where you message it, the way you'd email or Slack the person you hired. You don't need to know which report to build or which metric to pick. Ask the question you actually have, like "Why did sales drop this week?", and it works out what to look at.

How do I ask about my ad performance?

Type your question the way you'd ask a colleague. There's no special format and no report builder to learn. For example:

It checks your connected Meta and Google ad accounts and gives you a short answer first, then the evidence. In the example below, the answer is no, and it backs that up by checking active campaigns, active ad sets (an ad set is a group of ads inside a campaign that share the same audience), today's spend and today's delivery (whether your ads are being shown to people).

The AdAmigo.ai chat agent answering "Are we spending right now?" with a short verdict and a Check and Result table covering active campaigns, active ad sets, today's spend, today's delivery and hourly delivery.

It also tells you when the data has limits. Here, it points out that Meta's numbers can arrive with a short delay, so "right now" means the latest data Meta has shared.

A few more questions you can ask:

  • "How did last week compare to the week before?"

  • "Which campaign has the best ROAS this month?" (ROAS, return on ad spend, is the revenue you get back for every dollar you spend on ads.)

  • "Why did my cost per purchase go up this week?"

For a "why" question, it doesn't stop at the numbers. It looks for the cause, for example an ad people have seen too many times, a budget change or an audience that got more expensive, and suggests what to do about it.

Can it show the answer as a table or a chart?

Yes. It picks a format that fits the question, but you can always say exactly what you want: a table, a line chart, a bar chart or any other kind of chart, and which data should go in it.

Tables work best when you're comparing lots of numbers side by side, like spend, results and cost per result for each campaign. (Cost per result is what you pay for each lead, purchase or other goal. You'll also see it called CPA, cost per acquisition.) Charts work best when you want to see a trend over time.

If the first version isn't quite right, just reply: "make it a bar chart", "only show the top 5 campaigns" or "split it by week". It redraws it in the same chat.

Can I see the actual ads it's talking about?

Yes. When an answer is about specific ads, it shows previews of them, so you know exactly which ad it means. No more guessing which "Video 3 - copy (2)" is the good one. Each card shows the ad's image, its name, the campaign it belongs to and key numbers like spend and ROAS.

AdAmigo.ai Top Performing Ads cards, each showing the ad's image, ad name, campaign, spend and ROAS.

That last part is often the most useful. Once you see what your best ads share, such as a hook, a format or an offer, you can ask it to design more ads like them. See designing image ads.

How do I run an account audit?

An audit is a full check of your account against your goals. It's the best first question to ask, and a good one to repeat every few weeks. Paste this into the chat:

It compares how your account is set up with what you're trying to achieve, then comes back with:

  • Where the account is mismanaged, for example ad sets spending money with zero purchases.

  • Opportunities you're missing, like locations you should exclude, or ads that are wearing out because the same people have seen them too often.

  • The exact actions it can take in your ad account to fix each one.

  • A projection of how your results would change if you made those changes.

AdAmigo.ai account audit listing findings like ad sets spending with zero purchases, missing location exclusions and fatiguing creative.

Want a narrower audit? Point it at one thing: "Audit only my Google Search campaigns" or "Audit my ads: which ones are wearing out and what should replace them?" For a walkthrough of your first audit, see your first 30 minutes in AdAmigo.ai.

Can it make the changes it recommends?

Yes, and this is where reporting in the chat beats a regular dashboard. You read the recommendation, ask questions, change what you want, then say go. It carries out the changes in the same chat: pausing ads or ad sets, shifting budgets, adjusting bids or changing targeting.

Approval comes first. When you ask for a specific change, it does it. When the idea is its own, like a recommendation from an audit, it asks before it changes anything. If a fix means launching something new, you can ask it to launch paused, so you can review everything in your ad account before any money is spent.

How do I set up a recurring update?

Most people want the same update every week, in the same format. There are two ways to get it.

In a chat you come back to

Brief it once on what the update should contain and how it should look:

Next time, open the same chat and write "give me the new update". It already knows the format, so you get the same layout with fresh numbers. Star the chat (three-dot menu, then Star chat) to keep it pinned at the top of your History. If your team should see it too, switch the chat from Private to Company-wide in the menu next to the chat name.

Sent automatically on a schedule (custom agents)

If you'd rather not ask at all, set up a custom agent: an agent you create for one job, with a schedule. Yours are listed in the left sidebar under Custom Agents, for example Today's Brief, set to run daily at 7:00. Each time it runs, it posts a short written summary, a Performance Overview with charts and your top performing ads.

The Performance Overview from the AdAmigo.ai Today's Brief custom agent, with charts for Amount Spent, ROAS, Purchases and CPC (link click), each compared with the previous period, plus Add widget, a Compare menu set to Previous period and a date picker.

In the Performance Overview, each chart shows one metric (Amount Spent, ROAS, Purchases and CPC, the cost per link click) next to the previous period, so you can see at a glance whether things are getting better or worse. Above the charts are an Add widget button, a Compare menu set to Previous period and a date picker.

A custom agent can also send your update to a place you already check, like Slack, Gmail or Outlook, for example every Friday morning. See custom agent alerts and reports.

Chat recommendations vs Autopilot recommendations

Both give you recommendations. The difference is who starts the conversation.

Autopilot comes to you, every day. Each morning it reviews your account and proposes changes. Every proposal shows what it wants to change, why, and the expected impact, and you can ask follow-up questions about any of it. By default you approve each change. Once you trust it, you can turn on auto-apply, and changes are applied automatically, always inside your goals and limits. See how Autopilot works.

In the chat, you ask and lead. You bring the question, the deep dive or the one-off idea: "Why did leads drop on Tuesday?", "Should we test a new offer?", "What would you do with an extra $2,000 this month?" It answers, recommends and, when you say go, does the work.

Frequently asked questions

What data can the chat agent report on?

It reports on performance data from the Meta and Google ad accounts connected to your workspace. That includes numbers like spend, results, cost per result, ROAS, clicks and cost per click, for campaigns, ad sets and single ads. Ask your question in plain words and it works out which numbers to pull and compare.

Can I choose what kind of chart I get?

Yes. Say which chart you want and what should be in it, for example "ROAS by day for the last 30 days as a line chart, one line per campaign." If it's not quite right, reply with the change, like "make it a bar chart", and the chat agent redraws it in the same chat.

Can it show me the actual ads?

Yes. Whenever an answer is about specific ads, the chat agent shows previews of them with the ad's image, name, campaign and key numbers like spend and ROAS. That way you always know exactly which ad it means, and you can ask it to design more ads like your best ones.

Can I get a report every week automatically?

Yes. Set up a custom agent with a schedule, for example every Friday morning or daily at 7:00. It posts your update with a written summary, charts and top ads, and it can send it to places like Slack, Gmail or Outlook. If you prefer asking, keep one starred chat for your updates.

Will it make changes based on its recommendations without asking?

No. The chat agent does what you ask, and when a recommendation is its own idea, it asks before changing anything. You can approve all of its suggestions, only some, or change them first. For anything new it launches, you can ask it to launch paused so nothing spends money until you switch it on.

What's the difference between chat recommendations and Autopilot?

Autopilot comes to you every day with proposed changes, each showing what, why and the expected impact, and you approve them or turn on auto-apply. The chat is where you ask and lead: questions, deep dives and one-off ideas whenever you need them. Most people use both together.

Is the data in my reports real time?

It uses the latest data Meta and Google have shared with your connected accounts. Both platforms can report some numbers with a short delay, so the most recent hour may not be complete yet. When that matters for your question, the chat agent says so in its answer, like in the spend check above.
