Setting up your AdAmigo.ai workspace takes about 10 minutes. You name your business, connect your Meta and Google Ads accounts, link the tools you already use, review a first audit of your account and set the limits AdAmigo.ai should never cross. After that, you add your brand details and invite your team. AdAmigo.ai fills in a lot of this on its own, so you mostly check and confirm.

What is a workspace?

A workspace is the home for one brand or one client. It holds everything AdAmigo.ai knows and does for that brand:

  • The connected ad accounts, as many Meta and Google Ads accounts as you need

  • Your connected tools, like Shopify, HubSpot or Google Drive

  • The knowledge base and Brand Identity

  • Priorities and guardrails

  • Your team, chats and custom agents

If you run ads for one business, you need one workspace. Agencies create one workspace per client, so each client keeps its own brand, budget and limits. You switch between workspaces in the top left of the app.

To create another workspace, click the workspace selector in the top left of the app, then click + Create Workspace. You can do this at any time, and each new workspace goes through the same setup steps below. Read more about workspaces and team members.

How to set up your workspace, step by step

When you sign up, AdAmigo.ai walks you through steps 1 to 5 in a short chat. Steps 6 to 8 happen in Settings, whenever you're ready.

Step 1: Name your business

After you create your account, AdAmigo.ai asks what your business is called. That name becomes the name of your workspace.

Step 2: Connect your ad accounts

Connect your Meta ad account, your Google Ads account, or both. You log in with Meta or Google and pick the accounts AdAmigo.ai should manage. You can add more ad accounts later. Step-by-step guides:

Step 3: Connect your other tools

Next, connect the tools tied to your brand. This step is optional, but the more AdAmigo.ai can see, the better its work gets:

  • Shopify: real revenue and your products, so it can design ads for your best sellers and optimize for actual sales

  • HubSpot or ActiveCampaign: your pipeline and lead quality, so it optimizes for leads that turn into customers

  • Google Drive or Dropbox: your creative and brand assets to design from

AdAmigo.ai setup step asking to connect Shopify, HubSpot CRM, Google Drive and Dropbox, with a Skip for now option.

Click Skip for now if you'd rather do this later. You can connect tools at any time under Settings › Connectors. See connectors.

Step 4: Review your first audit

AdAmigo.ai now reads your account history, usually the last 90 days, and compares it with the market. A minute later, it shows you what it found: wasted spend, missed chances and risks.

AdAmigo.ai first account audit listing findings like ad sets spending with zero purchases, missing location exclusions and fatiguing creative.

You don't need to act on anything yet. These findings become the starting point for Autopilot's first proposals.

Step 5: Set your priorities and guardrails

AdAmigo.ai suggests what it should focus on first (your priorities) and the limits it must never cross (your guardrails). It fills in sensible defaults from your audit. Check them, edit anything that doesn't fit and confirm.

  • Priorities are your goals in order, for example "keep ROAS at or above 2.4x" or "cut wasted spend before adding budget".

  • Guardrails are hard limits, like a daily spend cap, or limits by location, age or gender.

AdAmigo.ai setup step showing three priorities in order and controls for a daily spend cap and limits by location, age and gender.

AdAmigo.ai only ever acts inside these limits. You can change them any time under Settings › Priorities and Settings › Guardrails. Read more about priorities, guardrails and memory.

Once you confirm, you start your 7-day free trial and land in the app.

Step 6: Check your Brand Identity

Your Brand Identity is how AdAmigo.ai keeps every ad on brand. Open it under Settings › Brand Identity. It holds:

  • Logos and brand assets

  • Colors and typography

  • Visual style, and voice and tone

  • Do's and don'ts for visuals and copy

  • An AI brand summary that sums it all up

AdAmigo.ai Brand Identity settings with sections for brand basics, logos and assets, colors, typography, visual style, voice and tone, do and don't rules and an AI brand summary.

AdAmigo.ai reads most of this from your website and brand assets automatically. Check that it's right, upload your logos if they're missing and add any rules it should always follow, for example "never put text on product photos". See knowledge base and Brand Identity.

Step 7: Add to your knowledge base

The knowledge base holds what AdAmigo.ai knows about your business: your offers, products, audiences and how you work. Open it under Settings › Knowledge.

AdAmigo.ai Knowledge settings showing Brand folders (Brand and Voice, Product, Active offers) and Organization folders (Playbooks, Naming conventions).

AdAmigo.ai fills in a lot of it on its own. The most useful things to add yourself:

  • Active offers: current discounts, bundles or promotions

  • Naming conventions: how you name campaigns, ad sets and ads, so everything AdAmigo.ai builds matches

  • Playbooks: the rules and processes your team already follows

Under the Memories tab you'll find preferences you've told AdAmigo.ai in chat, like "always launch new ads paused".

Step 8: Invite your team

Team members are free on every plan, so invite everyone who works on your ads. Go to Settings › Team and invite them by email.

Chats are private by default. When you want your team to see a chat, share it with the workspace. Read more about workspaces and team members.

What happens after setup?

Your workspace is ready, and AdAmigo.ai starts working:

  • Autopilot prepares its first set of proposed changes, based on your audit, priorities and guardrails. Each one waits for your approval.

  • The chat agent is ready for anything you want to ask or hand off, from designing ads to building campaigns.

  • Every change it makes is recorded, so it keeps learning what works for your account.

Next, follow your first 30 minutes with AdAmigo.ai.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to set up AdAmigo.ai?

About 10 minutes. You name your business, connect your Meta and Google Ads accounts, optionally link tools like Shopify or HubSpot, review a first audit and confirm your priorities and guardrails. Adding brand details, knowledge and team members in Settings takes a few more minutes, whenever you're ready.

How do I create a new workspace in AdAmigo.ai?

Click the workspace selector in the top left of the app and click + Create Workspace. You can create a new workspace at any time, for example for a new brand or client. Each workspace gets its own ad accounts, connected tools, knowledge base, Brand Identity, guardrails and team.

What is a workspace in AdAmigo.ai?

A workspace is the home for one brand or client. It holds the connected ad accounts, connected tools, knowledge base, Brand Identity, priorities, guardrails, team, chats and custom agents for that brand. Agencies use one workspace per client, and you switch between them in the top left of the app.

Do I need to connect Shopify or a CRM?

No, it's optional, but it helps a lot. Shopify gives AdAmigo.ai real revenue and product data, and a CRM like HubSpot shows which leads turn into customers. With that, it can optimize for real business results instead of only the numbers inside Meta and Google.

Do I have to fill in the knowledge base and Brand Identity myself?

Mostly not. AdAmigo.ai reads your website, brand assets and account history and fills in a lot on its own. It's worth checking that everything is right and adding things only you know, like current offers, naming conventions and rules your ads must always follow.

Can I change my priorities and guardrails later?

Yes, at any time. Go to Settings and open Priorities or Guardrails. AdAmigo.ai always acts inside your current limits, so a change takes effect for every proposal and action from then on.

How do I invite my team?

Go to Settings, open Team and invite your colleagues by email. Team members are free on every plan. Chats are private by default, and you can share any chat with your workspace so your team sees the work.
